Kia ora!

I’m a watercolour painter and a potter, who has a background in marine biology. I draw inspiration from my work from many places, but am particularly drawn to the ocean and the native landscapes that we are lucky to be surrounded in here in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Creating with my hands brings me a sense of balance, and I hope my pieces offer that same gentle moment for the people who hold them.

Until fairly recently, I had assumed that I didn’t have a creative bone in my body. Now that I have taken the time to slow down and be kind to myself, I have discovered this whole new world.

I hope I can share this joy with you now - whether it’s an original painting, a print, or a functional ceramic piece, I want my art to brighten everyday life. I consider myself succesful if my art brings a smile to someone’s face or a moment of calm to their day.
